Contribute FeedbackIt is Thursday, we both drive through the Lößnitztal valley and come past the Lößnitztal-Schänke. It's later in Radebeul, it's dark, it's cool and we're hungry. Since the place still seems to be open and also not full, we try our luck and we have it, a free table waiting for its guests, us. We enter and disinfect our hands before the entrance to the guest room. This itself is beautifully designed, sensual and rustic with light dimmed light. Here we see hunting trophies of all kinds on the wall, photos from the history of the house and the place, lots of carved and commemorative photos of famous visitors guests. An image of the boss with his dog is near the vault and makes me a little the impression of an “altar” to his homage. The currently valid distance rules are also preserved. A young waitress offers us a table we also take. With the menu comes also the Corona information price leaf and a pen. Before we get the menu overview to face, after the card strikes, we expect a nice saying, the saying of the house: “The food is not going from the band, because we cook with heart and hand. We like to do it for our guests and offer only the best! The clear and wide range of dishes usually includes “three blocks”, i.e. 6 salad variants differing from the rule, BBER then 3 soups, 3 dishes for the small hunger, to which there is a fresh baguette, 3 dishes without meat, 3 dishes with the base of river and sea, 3 times wildbret and kangaroo, 3 offers from the stables and from the pastures facilitated to extra bread These few possibilities were completely enough to make my choice difficult. After intensive card studies, the 1st homemade tranches from the deer, 2nd the wild stew, 3rd of the Saxon Sauerbread, 4th the pickled beef and 5th and finally the beefbread. In the end, I also decide “my” dish from my favorites, this time with counting, otherwise it was not possible for me. It was the beef roast. The lumps with brown butter and great red cabbage were already quite good, but this was surpassed by the red wine sauce and the almost decaying beef already at the sight of the knife, well, he waited until the tongue...There was a delicious dark beer, one from the Royal Brewery Krušovice, a brewery on the Czech side in the run-out area of the Erzgebirge. My treasure was much faster as usual, it took the special offer that was handwritten in white chalk on a dark ground. She found it right when entering the restaurant in the outdoor area, carving with cauliflower. That was also really delicious, the cauliflower was still really biting as she had hoped. The service was very attentive, uncanny nice and very accommodating, smiling. We have experienced that the “candidate” is also fully applicable to the service.
