Loved the Austral, great staff, friendly people, lovely old building. My horse especially likes the cold bundy, just need a tie up rail out front to keep him out of the bar! View all feedback.

Went here for lunch. Nothing special. Standard Pub fare. Beef schnitzel was from a packet. Tiny tiny salad serving - 1/4 of a small tomato and a couple of bits of capsicum and some lettuce . Other meals in our group were ok - but nothing to go wild about. Plates are not cleared after eating. Same for other tables - I noticed that they were not cleared until people had left. We had two meals at the Austral Inn. Both were very good. The Austal offers some interesting menu choices, including Kangaroo Schnitzel with Quandong Sauce. The service was very good.
Had a great meal - very nice veggie and salad bar was a bonus as was the decent wine list ! A nice hotel , great staff and the best steak I have had for some time Worth a visit - highly recommended !
We had dinner at the Austral Saturday night. Had a fantastic meal. I am Gluten Intolerant & they where very accommodating with me. My husband had the Roo Snitzel & he loved it. Great value meal.
