I spent a few hours at Speakeasy today, and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. However, it seems like there might be some strain in their supply chain. Being a Friday, they didn’t have any milk available during the 9:10 AM rush, which was a bit unusual. Thankfully, I’m fine with oat milk or almond milk as alternatives. The food was quite satisfying. I tried the cheesecake, which was excellent and creamy, just how I like it. The fruit cup was decent, but some of the fruit seemed a bit past its prime, particularly the blueberries that were starting to turn gray. I also wanted to sample a couple of beverages. The flat white with almond milk was excellent—no complaints there—and the strawberry banana smoothie was quite good as well. I inquired about the coffee source, but the staff member wasn’t certain; she guessed maybe San Antonio. The quality of the beans definitely appeared to be above average, and I would be interested in trying a few more coffee drinks the next time I’m in town. As you can see in the videos, the space is huge and feels very spacious, making it easy to relax in a quiet corner or socialize with others. I hope this review helps!
The restaurant boasts a wonderful atmosphere! The staff was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. It did get a little busy at one point, which caused a slight delay in service. While the coffee was just average, my fruit plate was exceptional. For anyone with dietary restrictions, make sure to ask for oat milk and a fruit plate without cheese.
