Red Dome Smokehouse - Quitman

The buffet was wonderful, with a fantastic selection of dishes. I sampled a piece of rib and found it to be delightful. A small piece of fried chicken was also tasty. I particularly enjoyed the vegetables; the turnip greens were excellent, and the corn tasted as fresh as if it had just been picked from the cob. The corn muffins were good as well. My husband had a peach cobbler and said it was amazing. Despite the storm outside, we truly enjoyed our meal. The table service was excellent, too.

After lunch, I ordered the brisket plate with two sides. The meat was tender and juicy, but unfortunately quite bland, lacking any distinct smoky flavor or seasoning. The service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-organized. I’m willing to give them another chance.

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were informed by the staff upon arrival that there was a limited menu due to staffing shortages. Everyone was incredibly friendly, which made us feel welcome! I'm so glad we decided to give it a try— the food was delicious! Our server, Beth, was not only wonderful to talk to but also very attentive and helpful. She even came back to double-check our order before submitting it to ensure nothing got mixed up. Additionally, she made sure my coffee and water were always topped off. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for a great experience!

Great food. Bless the heart of the lady worked the checkout she helped g out 7 MI used to the end of her layer and accidentally abandoned tea tower and was so embarrassing. But great attitude, although it was a humble mess that had to be cleansed up. Great food and service was dead. Want to go back and experience the famous buffet sometime

I am not from around here, but I sure wish I was just to be close to this restaurant. Insanely good food and it came out at a great speed. Super friendly folks, small town vibes, and GREAT COFFEE! The price was good for the portion size of food.
