It's sad to say this because I had a good e... read more I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. It was one of the worst experiences I have had dining out. It's sad to say this because I had a good experience on one other occasion, which is why I decided to come back and show my friend. Today, we ordered clam chowder, two drinks, calamari, and two salads. The calamari and chowder were good, but one of the drinks was undrinkable. After chatting for an hour and a half, we realized our salads never arrived. When we asked the server, they had no idea and we found out that the ticket got lost in the kitchen. The server removed the salads from our bill, even though we never received them. We mentioned our rush to the manager, who said there was nothing he could do except offer us a free round of drinks and an appetizer if we returned. I appreciate the gesture, but after being ignored by the server for the 2.5 hours we were there and not having our water refilled, I am not interested in returning and giving them more money. The calamari we wanted to take home was cleared from the table without asking us.

We had high hopes sitting down at the bar, the bartender was eager to serve AT FIRST. However, after one drink and taking our appetizer order, we were ignored for the remainder of the night despite it being a pretty tame evening 8PM). Several regulars walked in and were served course after course and drink after drink, and we had our appetizer plates taken away with no second look or offer for another drink on two glasses that had sat empty for 37 minutes. The food was ok some enjoyable, other bland/mediocre flavors. The bartender also left behind the bar to serve “regulars” at their tables in the main dining room. Will not return.

Both the calamari and the meatball special were only mediocre. I would not choose to return to this restaurant.
