Good food and plentiful too! The Tra Vinh Special Noodle Soup was a feast. Fresh Spring Rolls were full to the mouth and Pork Fried Spring Rolls were savory. The staff who attended to us was nice too. She explained the menu quite well View all feedback.
What Renz L doesn't like about Tra Vinh Authentic Vietnamese Noodles:
Tried Tra Vinh in cloverleaf and it was so-so... we got the combination beef noodle soup, taste-wise it was great. Their fresh spring roll is also great but only 4pcs. The pomelo salad is also okay but small serving. However, we were not a fan of stir-fry vegetables and the lemongrass chicken (which looks like an oily adobo). This restaurant is a great choice if you're in the mood for unique and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The dishes are packed with flavor thanks to their use of spices, and the portion sizes are generous and satisfying. It's an excellent spot to explore something different in the Banawe area. Additionally, it's a fantastic option for vegetarians, as they offer a wide variety of meat-free dishes. However, be aware that parking can be challenging during peak lunch and dinner times. I’ll definitely return to sample more of their menu!
I visited Tra Vinh in Cloverleaf, and my experience was mixed. We ordered the combination beef noodle soup, which was quite good in terms of flavor. The fresh spring rolls were also enjoyable, but we only received four pieces. The pomelo salad was passable, though the portion was small. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the stir-fried vegetables or the lemongrass chicken, which resembled an oily adobo dish. Overall, the restaurant has a clean appearance, but the service left much to be desired. The servers, including the cashier, were often nowhere to be found, which was frustrating as many customers were left standing, trying to locate them inside the kitchen.
Tra Vinh offers a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes on its menu. It's an ideal spot for both large groups and solo diners. Some dishes come in small, regular, and large sizes to accommodate different appetites. This was my first visit, and I left feeling very pleased. I ordered one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes, Banh Xeo, which was delicious, though the vegetables were not the same as those used in Vietnam. The chicken pho was excellent as well! My husband chose the dried noodles with prawns wrapped in sugar cane, while my daughter enjoyed the pork brochette with egg noodles. Both of them were very satisfied with their meals.
The food is exceptional, the service is efficient and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and spacious.
The large bowl was quite expensive, nearly P500. The large Tra Vinh special only contained one shrimp, a few pieces of beef, and one fish ball. There wasn't much in it, but it was enough to fill me up. Overall, I found it to be overpriced. It's well-known that Vietnamese cuisine is associated with healthy foods, as the soup had no fat.
