What Marian Waters doesn't like about Nihonjin:
tonight and I have a few comments to visit my house. the broth of their suppe are very tasty. but their bark in their beef bento (yakiniku) and cattle sukiyaki were thin, hard and very chewing. her Bento box looks great, it even has two moaki pieces and some veggies. her soy sauce was in an uncomfortable container where they have to spoon it instead of simply pour it into their sauce plate. her sashimi arrived late (... A new, small, Japanese restaurant... with unexpected good dishes.
Thier ramen is decent with great flavors. Though the noodles aren't high grade, they're still worth the try to satisfy some ramen craving. They also serve fried squid and tonkatsu, yakisoba, and some rice toppings; but their gyoza remains to be the standout (and almost at par with the leading ramen and katsu places today).

read moreNihonjin, a small Japanese restaurant located in the bustling food strip of Maginhawa, offers a variety of delicious ramen dishes at affordable prices. Despite the small size of the establishment, the food served is top-notch, with generous servings and flavorful options like the Gegikara ramen and Shio ramen. The gyoza, although a bit oily, is still tasty and reasonably priced. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, with a Japanese-inspired interior that adds to the dining experience. While some dishes like the Katsudon and Ramen may have fallen short of expectations in terms of taste and presentation, Nihonjin still manages to impress with its quality Japanese food offerings. Overall, Nihonjin delivers on its promise of delivering good food at reasonable prices, making it a must-try for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts.
