Yummy sansrival! They were so nice as to put the happy birthday even if they didn't want to really. It wasn't sweet and very tart! High quality ingredients went into that cake! Funny tho how it kept moving around in the box. Will be back to try everything else.

We dined in here on a Thursday evening, around 6pm to be exact. We were choosing between Nic's and Mama Lou's and you know what happened next (regrets followed right after ????). Ordered Charcuterie Platter, Blue Cheese Pizza and Truffle Mushroom Pasta. Charcuterie Platter - ???????????????? Okay sana but there were only 2 mid-size strips of Jamon Serrano! Super bitin! The sausage, cheese and the bread were okay. Blue Cheese Pizza - ???????? Well, I think it's may fault na i didn't read the description very well na may honey pala drizzled on top of the pizza. For me, hindi siya bagay kasi hindi naman ganun kalasa yung cheese. Para akong kumain ng turon sa tamis. ???? Quite generous naman yung strips of Jamon Serrano. The crust is too hard; tutunog talaga yung pagkagat mo lalo na if you get the corner slices of the pizza. Sobrang disappointed ako. Truffle Mushroom Pasta - ???????????????? Saving grace ng meal namin. Medyo kaunti nga lang yung serving. I suggest to eat it right after serving because the olive oil(?) settles fast at the bottom of the plate. Makikita mong sobrang oily niya. Customer Service - ???????????????????? Dito na lang din binawi. They always say "no problem, Ma'am/you're welcome!" when you acknowledge them. All smiles din sila and very attentive if wala ka ng water sa glass. They always refill your glass even if it is still half-full. Ambience - ???????????? Ang init sa loob ng restaurant so we opted to dine outside. Mas malamig pa aircon ng UPTown kaysa sa loob mismo. Overall verdict, we could have dine in Mama Lou's then get cake desserts from here. Siguro if babalik ako, for the desserts na lang and not for anything else.

This was our first time to try this place. First off, the service was quite good. My wife was hankering for Clam Chowder soup but they don't have it in their menu. Clara, one of their staff, after asking the kitchen, confirmed that they have what my wife wanted. She also ordered chicken sandwich to go along with it. I, in turn ordered the Arroz ala Cubana.  When the Clam Chowder came it was served in a tiny piece of bread (see photo). My wife said it didn't meet her standards although it tasted okay with me. Her chicken sandwich was delicious, my wife said.  My Arroz ala Cubana was a tad below my expectations. The fried banana was not sweet.  The biggest disappointment was the caramel frappe I ordered after lunch. It was the most bland frappe I ever tasted. It was so bad that I did not even finish it. The only redeeming factor was the good service they provided.

Ordered clam chowder which was 145php. I expected a huge bread bowl with scrumptious soup enough to fill my hunger. Instead, I got a small piece with barely a ladle of soup inside. DO NOT GO HERE.
