Lobby Cafe - B Hotel Quezon City

Finally got to visit B Hotel tonight for dinner. I called ahead to make a reservation to make sure we get good seats and service from the call to order taking was pretty good. But service started to decline as soon as they served the first dish. I pointed where to place the dishes but the server didn't seem to be paying attention and kept placing the food in front of me. R asked for a plate and the server gave the plate to me when it's clear that the one who doesn't have one was R. I requested for a refill of water and I had to follow it up. (And note that the server I asked was not doing anything when I asked her.) It may seem small but considering that this is under Bellevue, I was hoping for better service. Ate Sunday lunch with family. Ordered bulalo, bistek Tagalog, grilled shrimp, lechon kawali, and fried rice. Afterwards had mango cake, egg pie and Oreo cheesecake. The bulalo was just right, not too salty, with good chunks of juicy beef and bone marrow. The bistek is also flavourful, with tender strips of beef. I only wish it had more onion rings. The meat is very good. The desserts are great and lived up to the hype. Great place to go if you want some comfort food in a quiet place with tasteful ambience. Lucien, our head waiter, was very accommodating. There were a lot of people eating there. It's a family friendly place, and got function rooms for people who want to hold meetings. @Barbara David

It was my second time in B Hotel. Well the first wasn't a good experience. That's why I had to inform the management about it thru a survey that was sent to my email. Shortly after I submitted my responses, the Hotel Manager, Rowena "Owen" Samonte contacted me and offered me if I could avail of a free weekend accomodation just make up for the unfortunate experience I had last May 2017. So I availed of the free accomodation this weekend. I'm so happy to inform that it was very relaxing. We were treated like VIPs. The Duty Manager was the one who accompanied us to our suite. The breakfast buffet is superb. Staff were very accomodating. I personally liked their tocino, tapa (is the best), sardines and their fruits. Thank you again Ms. Owen Samonte for the pleasant and relaxing weekend you provided me at B Hotel. Unfortunately I wasn't able to meet you personally.

I attended a seminar in B Hotel where am/pm snacks and lunch were catered by its Lobby Cafe. While the entrees were unremarkable, I found its bread pudding deliciously sweet but would have been better if partnered with a vanilla cream sauce. beingjellybeans.wordpress.com

I went here to celebrate my 19th birthday with friends as a recommendation from my parents. I called two days before and had no trouble making reservations! On the day itself, we were the only ones eating at that time, so we had the full attention of the waiters and the live performance (I even requested for a song) – the food was delicious, the music was relaxing, the service was amazing, and the company I was with was top-notch. I'm in love with their Hainanese chicken and iced tea. Would definitely come back for more!
