The restaurant has traditional Filipino house interiors. The food is really good, but is also quite expensive. Their crispy dinuguan is definitely a must-try. Service is okay. View all feedback.
Their crispy dinuguan is very very good. It was indeed, crispy. Stuffed squid was good, too. The squid was soft and the vegetable filling tasted good. Binagoongan rice was delicious. Service was good. Quick and responsive servers. Clean well-maintained place.
This filipino restaurant has its own share of both healthy and not so healthy dishes. Try their sinigang na bangus sa miso, crispy binagoongan, and thai green salad (must try Ambience was right for an old filipino feel. Servers were efficient despite many customers. Serving was about enough for 2 to 3 persons. The price was worth it. Gonna come back to try their other dishes.
Crispy liempo, pork binagoongan, sinangag na sinigang are my favorites. Binagoongan is cooked in lotsa tomatoes, so good I can finish one plate. Filipino good food
We had our Sunday lunch out with the family here. So we arrived at 12:30 in the afternoon and we were almost 15 pax, that 's why we waited for about half an hour to be seated. Food Quality: They offer Filipino Cuisine, of course. Different dishes that is commonly served in every Filipino home. We ordered pancit, crispy pata, crispy tenga, hototay soup, kare-kare, ampalaya con carne, lumpiang sariwa, bagoong rice and of course plain rice. I loved the food, but my tastebuds found nothing special on those... we also ordered sago 't gulaman that is quite pricey for a hundred peso. Value for Money: We spent almost 6000php (inclusive of discounts for 4 senior citizens and 1 pwd) for 2 servings each of pancit, soup, Lumpia and the crispy ulams; 5 servings of plain rice, 3 unlimited iced tea and 3 sago 't gulaman. Ambiance: The place is good, it will give you a Filipino vibe (especially for those foreigners/balikbayans). Although the entire place was small and makipot . The place is good for family gathering/eat-out. Verdict: Will definitely come back because I wanna try their desserts.
Crispy dinuguan, seafood kare kare and laing are just among my personal favorites at Kanin Club. Their food carries with it the distinct Filipino taste but with a little twist that makes it distinct. The place also has a Filipino feel because of the tables, chairs and other fixtures. It just gets crowded though during peak hours which makes dining a bit annoying since the place is a little small. Over all, Kanin Club still leaves a good gastonomic memory that makes you want to keep coming back.
