For tonight’s small birthday celebration, we shared the masterpiece in Mango Bravo by Conti’s. I usually shy away from the cake after a full meal, but awhile ago, I finished a tall slice. After having Mango Bravo for years, I still find it as one of the best cakes out there. It’s a butter cake ensemble with cashew meringue, chocolate mousse, light cream, mangoes, and chocolate syrup. Conti's Baked Salmon. Wow. Got the big tray and may I just say.... this is arguably the best baked salmon I've tasted. the cheese on top perfectly compliments the salmon. i enjoyed eating every single bite!
This place is always jampacked with customers. Good thing about it is their crew members are all attentive to the needs of their customers. Parking is a bit few, though their guards are always quick in assisting customers. Price is a bit steep but food is definitely delish.
Comfort food whose taste and quality is consistent every visit. Worth trying: the Russian Potato Salad, Baked Prawns, Baked Salmon, Roast Beef, Lengua, Mango Tart, Mango Bravo, Garlic Sotanghon, the Gambas. I always order the Gambas. It's actually an appetizer but I eat it as ulam, I just order a cup of rice to eat with it. And the halo-halo is good. Pastries are very good too. Can't complain about the food. But the parking! Ugh! The parking! If you're familiar with the area, you know this section of the road is what's always causing traffic to slow down. ANY. TIME. OF. THE. DAY. And if you come in during lunch or dinner, good luck finding a parking slot. They have parking slots in front, yes, but they're never enough. The long wait for parking can sometimes put me off of wanting to eat here. Like, f*ck it, let's just eat somewhere else. They seriously have to do something about the parking.
When I’m craving for cakes, mango bravo is number one on my list. It’s mixed with various layers such as, whipped cream, mangoes, cashew nuts, chiffon cake, chocolate mouse, chocolate syrup, cream cheese and meringue. All in one cake. I also tried their Symphony salad with tomato vinegrette, which is also a stunner! By the way, I also recommend their cheese puffs and garlic sotanghon (which i was not able to take photo of since I am busy eating hahaha). The place is pleasant and elegant. But they will not look down on you even if you’re just wearing you plain white shirt and your favourite hoodie plus a board shorts and flip flops. The Crew are kind and polite.
Mango Bravo! Must try cake in this restaurant to cap your meal. Love the menu selection as well. Very good variety of food. The pasta dishes are simple and tasty
