Bacolod Chicken Inasal

For 99pesos, this Danggit Breakfast is a winner. The amount of Crispy Fried Danggit is good enough for two servings for fried rice! Dip it in a bit of spiced vinegar and it is a delightful meal to have in the early morning. It comes with a cup of soup, batchoy soup by the look of it. It has lots of garlic bits too which i enjoyed very much. Recommended.

At first, I thought they're the same as Mang inasal but I'm wrong. Good ambiance, tables and chairs are well cleaned and not crowded. We ordered the Chicken Inasal (I forgot to take a picture), La Paz Batchoy, Chicken Sisig. Ambiance Me and my daughter are veterans in trying out new restaurants where we have not dined at. Looking inside it looks inviting. The menu board was helpfully posted near the main entrance door. The menu was also inviting with its colorful photos of the food that they served. Service The staff was attentive to our needs. They handed us the menu and patiently waited for our order. I do inquire about certain dishes and this was answered helpfully. This also shows that the staff are well-trained. Food We both ordered for the same dish which was Chicken Adobo Flakes with Rice P149. I notice that the prices are a bit high as compared to other restaurants that served a similar dish. The rice was sprinkled with toasted garlic and we were served with soy sauce and vinegar as condiment. I regret it that I should have think twice because it seems that there are other dishes that are better tasting than this one. It was good but, just average.

Favorite: Laswa ni Lola If I compare their chicken inasal with that of Mang Inasal's, I would chose the latter. However, Bacolod Chicken Inasal offers more items in their menu. The favorite of my family and that of a few friends is the Laswa ni Lola. We from Mindanao are used to the law-oy (various vegetables in clear soup. This is the closest we could get to that law-oy. The Laswa ni Lola (vegetables plus few pieces of tuyong danggit really brings the visayan provincial vibe.

This is the only food that i enjoyed so much cause it's my favorite. LOL their service is too slow.. they need improvement and their glass windows are very dirty -__
