Begbie's Restaurant in Quesnel offers traditional breakfast with good service and decent food. The lunch and dinner options, although better than average, may lack variety for some. Portion sizes are generous and can be adjusted. The staff is accommodating, providing excellent service, especially with special dietary needs. Prices are reasonable, making it a no-nonsense dining establishment suitable for families. Overall, a good choice for a meal while in town, especially for breakfast.

Was Anonym at Tower Inn a mag?
Breakfast where excellent here and they allowed for my wife's food allergy problems. Service was friendly and good each morning. We did eat here 1 evening but didn't enjoy it as much as we did breakfast. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Tower Inn:
Had breakfast here twice Just another hotel restaurant Food was okay but service was slow on the first day and average on the second If you are staying at the hotel it is as good as anywhere for breakfast View all feedback.

We ate here three evenings in a row and enjoyed the variety of the menu as well as the prompt and friendly service. We would have no concerns about eating here again.

We were passing thru on a train trip and stayed overnight at the Best Western, where the restaurant is located. We are always a bit leery of hotel restaurants as they can be either overly-pricey, have substandard food/service, or both. Thankfully, Begbie's passed on both counts. Service was fast and friendly. I had the Quesadillas, which had a crispy outer portion and tasty filling. My husband had the cream chicken soup and the grilled ham and cheese sandwich and said both were very good. Prices were reasonable. We would dine there again.

We had reservations with a large group for dinner. They were not prepared for about 20people. The service was a bit slow but the food was fine. The waitress must have been new and not trained on the computer and credit/debit machine as she was having an awful time. None of us received a bill at the table. We went to the cash register to pay for our dinner. It was utter confusion!! We had 4 at our table and took over 20 minutes to sort out our cheques. I don't blame the poor waitress, but blame the manager for poor training procedures.

I visited solo while passing through for work. Got the steak with rice pilaf. Steak was basically a slab of ground beef with gravy on it and the pilaf was just fried rice. Really disappointed. Service was brutally slow; an hour for food, another 20...More

It's been a while since I last dined at Begbie's for no specific reason, but the pandemic prompted us to reconsider our dining habits. We were intrigued to check out their new outdoor tables that were set up due to the pandemic. The photo gives a glimpse of the outdoor seating area.
