The Real Ktv Běn Sè Shèng Diǎn Ktv

I hosted two parties at this restaurant and paid $100 for extra decorations, but I was disappointed with what I received. There were only balloons, and they didn’t even have the “Happy Birthday” signs that were shown in their Yelp photos. After my first experience, I wanted to give them a second chance, but the second time was just as underwhelming. Again, there were only balloons, and they were running late. The drinks were quite pricey, but the size of the room was great. It was a bit confusing when it came to choosing songs via WeChat, but overall, it wasn't a bad experience.

This KTV is tucked away in a corner on the 3rd floor of Royal Queen. The decor and service are impressive, and the sound system is excellent. The food is just average; we ordered the $138 combo, and most of the dishes were quite bland. However, I did order the fried calamari, which was delicious. As for the pricing, a medium room costs $55 per hour during the daytime.

The staff here lack common sense and displayed racist behavior. We spent two hours at this restaurant, and just ten minutes after leaving, I realized I had forgotten my umbrella inside. When the next group arrived, they didn’t even start singing, and yet the workers denied me access to retrieve my umbrella. Can you believe that after leaving for just two hours, getting my umbrella became an issue? They offered to take my phone number and promise to call if they found it, but I shouldn't have to wait two hours for that! We asked if they could go in and get the umbrella for us, but they refused. The service was terrible. I used to come here with my friends regularly, but after this experience, we won't be returning. There are plenty of other, better karaoke places to choose from, and I will be advising all my friends and family to stay away from here.

Great place behind a banquet hall. Great if you go earlier during the day. The rooms were spacious and clean. The service was fast.

Located on the top floor of the popular New World Mall, we were excited to have our reservation in for Sunday at 2 pm for 2 hours. Surprisingly affordable at $20 per hour, we were led to an average sized room. We were given two microphones, and told that we had room credit that can be used for food. Upon sitting down, we noticed an odd stench from one corner but didn't know where it was coming from, it lasted throughout our entire stay. The second issue was it was very difficult to find songs on the screen, almost none of the recent songs were listed so we had to go through the list of top 500 popular songs. We ordered takoyaki strawberry icecream (both good maxed out our credit limit). Overall, although decor, value and service was great, I couldn't help but address that KTVs should make their song selections more easily accessible and up to date. I would hope they update their system or make the settings more clear to users in the future.
