Tavern 18 Restaurant Bar - Queens

Steaks were GOOD. The 8oz filet mignon melted in mouth. Had sautéed mushrooms, broccoli and carrots, and mashed potatoes also, all perfectly seasoned and flavorful. Broccoli was perfectly almost-tender but not overdone. Server was delightful and recommended customer favorites, since this was our first time. I tried their chimichurri drizzle and port wine reduction with the steak, and just barely preferred the chimichurri. The port reduction was slightly sweet and buttery, very nice touch with the mild and tender meat, but the herby, oily chimichurri gave me just a little more flavor. Comfortable, relaxed but genteel atmosphere, and overall great experience!

We order sirloin for two, and spinach artichoke dip and the Cobb salad-the food is amazing! The waiter was attentive and friendly! We love it! Will come back soon!

The best tasting food in this area. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered. The staff are amazing and very friendly. I especially appreciate how clean everything is.

This restaurant is located in a lovely neighborhood and has classy decor. The food was excellent, well-prepared and served with great service. I will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this place.

We’ve enjoyed coming to Galo 18 for a few years now. Their dining experience is always nice and food is excellent. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner and baby shower in the banquet room and had a great time! Bruno and Nicole are great to work with when booking an event. Extremely easy going, kind and accommodating. On the day of the event we were able to come to set up early and everything went smoothly from the beginning. Bruno checked in on us to make sure everything is going well, waiters were extremely attentive and the food is always delicious. Portion sizes are great and everyone love the atmosphere. We highly recommend Galo to everybody and plan on having future events there.
