This restaurant presents an intriguing mix of ambiance and disappointment. While the atmosphere is lively, enhanced by upbeat reggae music and a youthful crowd, service issues abound. Diners report inflated prices for food and drinks, with complaints of subpar service during busy evenings. Patrons have felt ignored, especially those relying on bartenders for attention. Rude door staff have also marred the experience for some, overshadowing moments of excellent customer service from staff like Sal. Overall, this establishment offers potential charm but often fails to deliver a consistently positive dining experience. Proceed with caution.

What User dislikes about Impulse Lounge:
The overall atmosphere and music at this restaurant are great. It gets very crowded on Saturdays, making it hard for the staff to keep up with the demands. We ordered bottle service but didn't receive the appetizers that were supposed to come with it because they were so busy. The hookah took forever to come out, so people tended to pregame and buy drinks at the bar to avoid waiting. View all feedback.
Solomon is my favorite bartender ever! He’s so attentive and sweet! Impulse is forever my spot because of him!
To pay a cover charge and then not be served once is ridiculous. We went to impulse last night after it was highly recommended. We stepped in and I immediately went to the bar , after waiting patiently for an hour i started waving down the bartenders. They were more concerned with servicing their reserved tables I believe because, one time I asked a girl with slick back bun and BBL. She tells me no and that was when I decided to leave. I watched them serve parties behind me but never came to me. I left and spent money at another bar.The only good thing about this place was the walls and the DJ. Impulse isn’t worth the headache, money or time unless you get a booth. Also the crowd is young
Drinks are overpriced I was charged $40 for one drink and a water didn’t even notice until I seen the charges the next morning. Not enough staff and the set up is very weird there’s no space to actually enjoy yourself. I definitely wouldn’t go here again.Update Ms.Stacy I’ll start off by saying being snotty definitely won’t get you far the drink was watered down the cup was half full with a bunch of ice. I’ve never been to any bar where a small mixed drink and a water is $40. Since when you go to a bar and order a drink there’s taxes gratuity and a service fee??? That sounds ridiculous. You need to do better. Instead of arguing with customers being absolutely unprofessional you need to take a class on business etiquette. Enjoy your day Stacy ?
I am disappointed to write this review because I recently visited this restaurant and had a great time. In fact, I came back for a second visit specifically to leave a review. My first visit was enjoyable - the music was good, the bartenders were friendly, and the food was tasty. However, on my second visit, I was turned away at the door. I was wearing Ugg platform slides due to a foot injury, but I had my heels in my pocket. The person at the door was extremely rude and would not let me in with the shoes I was wearing. When I tried to compromise by putting on my heels, he still refused entry. While I understand that it is their establishment and their rules, there is a way to enforce policies with good customer service. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I cannot recommend this place.
