OMG, this is probably the best halal restaurant in Astoria, and surprisingly, it's also the most affordable! The staff member was incredibly friendly and prepared my order quickly. The portion sizes are really generous, as you can see, and the flavor is unbeatable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hadoota Halal Food:
I ordered the mixed rice to sample both types of meat. The lamb was slightly better than average, but nothing remarkable. The price was a bit on the higher side, with the plate costing $9. View all feedback.
Trust me! top 3 by nyc halal food cart! $8/Combo over reis, what a competitive price! meanwhile was a command almost enough for me and my friend!
So much food for cheap, easily best truck I've been to for a gyro

First time trying this place. Food was good, meat was chunky. Overall flavor is good. I paid the guy $10 for a mixed plate including a tip. Only problem is, what I thought was lettuce, was actually a palm-sized piece of plastic in my food. After I ate half the box already. Smdh. I couldn't stomach it anymore.
I've been going to Hooda Halal cart for about 4 years and I can honestly say that my experience has been great every single time! I love their chicken gyros and chicken over rice. They usually ask if you want white sauce and hot sauce. They will literally drown your food in the white sauce if you don't tell them beforehand and they'll put a little line of hot afterwards because the hot is actually really hot. I always tell them only a medium amount of white sauce and a lot of hot sauce and they're always hesitant to put a lot but I can take it! Haha.
