More time than expected. the food didn't come in good temperature

Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, great location. Only had some beers, but the menu looked good and other patrons seems to be enjoying the food. Recommend!

What an quirky place! It's in a strip mall type location and the decor is a little kitchy, but you can't beat the extensive Belgian beer list! Now remember,

The restaurant was next door to my hotel. I enjoyed the eggs, bacon, toast and there are always potatoes plus toast. The food was delicious. My friend had the buffet which he enjoyed. There was fresh fruit also that was pleasing. Server was pleasant and...prices are pretty much the same at all restaurants.

I used to love brunch at The Java. Started going there when I first arrived in Quebec City years ago. Had the opportunity to try again when out with friends for an overnight stay in the city. I was amazed at how much the...standard had declined. It took an hour and ten minutes for our food to arrive. No explanation given by the server. When the food arrived, the sausages were overdone, the breakfast potatoes were grizzly overdone crumbs with no potato inside at all. Toast was good, coffee too, price fine. I would not recommend this restaurant and it saddens me to say that as I had so many fond memories of it years ago.
