The Java in Quebec City has seen a decline in quality over the years, with long wait times and disappointing food. However, other nearby options offer better prices and service. On the other hand, Galway's offers fantastic fish and chips and a cozy atmosphere. Their smoked meat is also highly recommended. This Irish pub is bustling and offers a great selection of drinks, making it a must-visit spot for a casual evening with friends. Overall, for a satisfying experience, head to Galway's for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Was Anonym at Pub Java a mag?
The restaurant was next door to my hotel. I enjoyed the eggs, bacon, toast and there are always potatoes plus toast. The food was delicious. My friend had the buffet which he enjoyed. There was fresh fruit also that was pleasing. Server was pleasant and...prices are pretty much the same at all restaurants. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Pub Java:
I used to love brunch at The Java. Started going there when I first arrived in Quebec City 15 years ago. Had the opportunity to try again when out with friends for an overnight stay in the city. I was amazed at how much the standard had declined. It took an hour and ten minutes for our food to arrive. No explanation given by the server. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. The food was fantastic, with ample portions and reasonable prices. It arrived quickly and piping hot. The atmosphere was inviting, with servers who spoke English. They even provided us with an English menu without us having to request it. Despite being busy, we were served promptly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying meal at a fair price.
I chose to visit this Irish pub based on a recommendation and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly. Hugo, my waiter at the bar, provided excellent service – 5 stars! I highly recommend trying the Neipa St-Ambroise Berre, a flavorful and refreshing beer that is also affordable. Take the time to relax and enjoy yourself, we only have one life.
The nachos were terrible. It tasted like tomato sauce instead of salsa and there was no hint of spice at all.
