Had the opportunity to try again when out with friends for an overnight stay in the city. I was amazed at how much the...standard had declined. It took an hour and ten minutes for our food to arrive. No explanation given by the server. When the food arrived, the sausages were overdone, the breakfast potatoes were grizzly overdone crumbs with no potato inside at all. Toast was good, coffee too, price fine. I would not recommend this restaurant and it saddens me to say that as I had so many fond memories of it years ago.

The... read more From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. The food was fantastic, with ample portions and reasonable prices. It arrived quickly and piping hot. The atmosphere was inviting, with servers who spoke English. They even provided us with an English menu without us having to request it. Despite being busy, we were served promptly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying meal at a fair price.

Hugo, my waiter... read more I chose to visit this Irish pub based on a recommendation and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly. Hugo, my waiter at the bar, provided excellent service – 5 stars! I highly recommend trying the Neipa St-Ambroise Berre, a flavorful and refreshing beer that is also affordable. Take the time to relax and enjoy yourself, we only have one life.

Im gonna base these 5 stars purely on hospitality and a friendly atmosphere and since ive been in Quebec ive been quite a few places already but this one was by... read more Im gonna base these 5 stars purely on hospitality and a friendly atmosphere and since ive been in Quebec ive been quite a few places already but this one was by far the most welcoming and seemed to have genuine locals there who was full of good conversation which is what i look for and reminded me of places i go to back home! I had to go out my way to go to this pub cause my friend back home is from galway so i had to have a pint there and i wasnt dissapointed and will defineltey try and go back before i leave! Gabriel was a Top Barmen and was on point! Safe to say i enjoyed my time at pub Galway!
