This was my first experience trying poutine, so I don't have any references for comparison but I can say that the place is pretty good overall. I enjoyed it even though it's not very light...ideal for hearty eaters.

The Planète Poutine restaurant in Lévis is located at 1896, route des Rivières and not at 591 Route du Pont. It was our first visit to one of the Planète Poutine chain restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the place and the good layout of the tables, even though it is not very big. Upon entering, the lady at the counter explained the menu to us well and the service was very efficient; exactly what you would expect when going to a "fast food" restaurant. On the menu, you mainly find three categories of dishes: Poutines, hamburgers, and hot dogs. But where the comparison with other poutine restaurants stops is the choice that is offered to us. 18 types of poutines, 7 burgers, and 16 choices of hot dogs... Examples: Vegetarian poutine, rib poutine, duck confit poutine, filet mignon poutine, etc. and of course the original poutine. The same goes for the hot dogs and burgers. We chose: Rib poutine and Pepper poutine with coffee. Everything was presented to us in a beautiful orange melamine bowl with a metal fork and not plastic... It was well-prepared and perfectly hot. A young lady with a beautiful smile even asked if we liked it, which is rather rare in a fast food establishment. The total cost of this meal for two: $20.24 CAD (taxes included) and no tip to give; which seems very reasonable to me. We liked it and therefore we recommend Planète Poutine for its good food and efficient service. Give it a try, it's really different! During our next visit, we promise to try another one of their specialties.

The restaurant was clean and neat. The food was excellent although the service was a bit slow. Conveniently located and just plain fun for us since we were visiting. Our first time in a Planet Poutine

Le restaurant est trop petit. De toute façon j'ai pris la poutine à emporter par 2 fois. une fois celle au canard , puis celle au bleu. les saveurs sont trop sucrées et ne rappellent en aucun cas le produit vedettes

The branch is not very large, with about 50 seats, but many people come to pick up their poutine to eat at home. The orange-themed decoration blends well with the tables and chairs. The staff is courteous and welcomes us with a smile. The presentation is well done, with the restaurant's logo on the tray, nice red bowls for the poutine, and plates of the same color if you opt for a hot dog or hamburger. It was my smoked-meat night! The poutine was served with a pickle and two strips of red pepper. I also tried the smoked-meat hot dog. I thought the sausage would be accompanied by meat, but no, it's a hot dog bun with smoked-meat and mustard. A bit disappointing considering the prices are a bit high for my taste. If you are a fan of poutine, you will love this place, as there is something for everyone. The question I ask myself, with the proliferation of poutine specialty restaurants, is whether it is a trend or if these restaurants are here to stay?
