I came to Quebec City for my birthday, read the reviews, and it did not disappoint! I started with a drink that featured peach liquor and had the course meal. To my expectations, it met all of hype from the reviews and I loved...every dish. Amazing food. Service was wonderful. Ambience distracted. The walk through the kitchen to the dining room began the experience. The unmatched uncomfortable chairs and tables tried to be too hard “funky”. Especially the restaurant was so loud that I couldn't hear the waiter or my husband over the table. Test the tasting menu with regular wine pairing. my man had a pettigrew menu and I had a vegetarian menu. we both loved our dinners from beginning to end. the service was also great! thank you!
Wow loved it! we were in quebec city a few days before a cruise to boston. one evening we walk through chez rioux pettigrew and it looked so quant. we have made a reservation for the next night. fortunately, we could sit on a window seat and the weather was amazing so that the windows were opened. so cool. we ordered a bottle of wine and then ordered the 5 curs chef’s tasting menu. we had no idea what to expect. the courses began to come and we were not disappointed. our server knew about each cursor and explained what they were perfect as everyone was delivered. we were very satisfied with our entire experience in chez rioux pettigrew and would come back when we are in quebec city.
Loves the ambiente des restaurants! great service and wonderful eating. chef is kreatiw and puts a lot of effort to make big diners. as the concept where they have smaller portions, so they can order more dishes to taste different foods
Beautiful evening that celebrates our 30th anniversary. eating was amazing, service was top notch. we sat at the bar and watched jeremy the most amazing, carefully designed cocktails! he went out of his way to make the experience of all as if they were in a good friend home for an amazing evening meal. highly recommended!
