Atmosphere is beautiful with the restaurant surrounded in Christmas trees with white lights. Staff was professional and very friendly. I ordered the Agnelotti which was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place!

It is just as goods as, but not... read more An animated neighborhood restaurant with a lovely patio, Matto Sainte-Foy is located on avenue Myrand, next to Laval University. It is just as goods as, but not to be mixed-up with Matto 71 in Old Quebec City. Besides, why drive downtown when you have such a great Italian restaurant so close to the hotel. And indeed, there seemed to be a misunderstanding with our reservations. But to their great credit, it took them only a few minutes to arrange for a table although the place was fully booked like all restaurants on this long weekend. Thank you! Just browsing the extensive and inviting menu was a pleasure in itself. Flavorful and fresh, both Spaghetti alla Carbonara and Spaghetti «meat balls» were quite unique. Delicious.
