Feedback
This at a Glance Pub Like place offered a discovery meal which astounded. Beautifully laid out plates, creatively adorned and flavorful. Each course was very good to excellent but the overall quality of the meal for its price exceeded expectations. Don’t go too late as the place does a metamorphosis into a club. The waitress spoke good English.Sorry, I missed taking pics of the first course a small chocolate size piece of blood pudding I actually liked, with an apple puree, caramelized onions and beets. A cocktail and a small glass of wine was also included. Pretty sure the experience is different a la carte.
What I liked the most was the drinks. You can tell this guy likes to prepare drinks./J'ai beaucoup aprécié les drink et le talent du barman qui personalise les cocktails.
We were originally going to another restaurant and ended up at Le Cercle because there were not a lot of people compared to all full restaurants around. when we saw the prices we understood why. It's expensive for the location. but worth every penny! This was an incredible meal in a nice (although ecletic) environment. Very artistic. Service was impeccable, really made our night special. The food was well though well cooked and well presented. Very happy with our evening!
We were here for dinner while visiting the city. The ambience was the excellent, very cool vibe and layout. The menu was definitely interesting and a few of our choices were very tasty. The salmon tartare was delicious! But we ordered the fondue and it was super disappointing. $30 for 4 potatoes, a few slivers of beef and a Brussel sprout...not the impressive. Definitely would have benefitted from some better service and more information about the menu.
Interesting food with local ingredients but the 3 times we are here we were always let down by the service which ranged from slow to abysmal. Luckily a hefty discount on our bill helped with the last time but we haven't been back. Try the seal Tataki looks like it was killed on your plate with the red coulis highlights!
