However our September 2023 visit in honour of my wife’s birthday left lots to be desired. Ordered filet mignon $58), received 3 small but tender) strips of beef. The plate was basically empty otherwise, lacking anything significant to accompany the “filet mignon”. Also ordered paëlla risotto $40). The risotto was essentially tasteless, and the paëlla appeared to be their own version nothing like what was expected. When we politely expressed some disappointment, the waiter disappeared and sent an assistant to complete the service. We completed a satisfaction survey but Bistango never responded.

The service w... read more My experience at Bistango on New Year's Eve was fantastic. The prix fixe menu was excellent, with a wide variety of options and generous portions. The service was friendly and professional. Our table enjoyed dishes ranging from veal to cod, foie gras to arctic char, and every bite was delicious. The Jerusalem artichoke veloute was especially outstanding. Despite the somewhat unassuming location next to a hotel strip, I highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful and tasty meal.
