Écho Buvette - Quebec City

Our family of 7 stumbled over this charming and inconceivable restaurant bc it is right opposite the road from where we stay. We ordered each dish except one side tapas-style menu, and all were winners. The dishes are diverse, creative and delightful. Excellent service, to the earth's atmosphere and very reasonable prices. They just opened a month ago and we all feel very happy to have found this as an uncovered jewel. Very recommended.

My wife and I explored the city and came across this place by chance. Just amazing! I would recommend it very much. The food was amazing, but above all the server we had was both familiar and friendly. He was so excited about food, it was our pleasure to be his customers. He told us his attitude is a reflection of the customers. Make yourself a favor and get ready to enjoy a fantastic meal. Cocktails were old classics and some of the best we ever had

This little restaurant is a real find. The menu is very distinctive and the wine list is definitely original. We had the charcuterie board which presented local pâtés and cheeses, all so very tasty. We then had the gnocchi: the best we had ever tasted! So full of flavour. The first wine we enjoyed was a red wine from Gaillac in France and the second was from northern Spain. They were very different and complemented our food fully. The wine list was created by the manager and it carries wines from little known regions, ready to be discovered. Finally, the service was very attentive and friendly.

Excellent and interesting food. We sat at the bar area overlooking the kitchen. The chefs were happy to talk to us and share their recommendations for both the food they prepare and places to go in QC. Great experience, Great people. Thank you!

What a gem! We stopped in for a drink and snack before dinner and sat at the counter. Watching the chef’s work was a highlight of our trip to Quebec! We had the meat board and it was filled with a variety of delicious meats, housemade carmelized onions and mustards that we ate every last bit of. Meticulously prepared food in a delightful relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!
