I was truly impressed with Le Sam. The service, atmosphere, and especially the food were all top-notch, surpassing anything I've encountered elsewhere. The staff provided excellent service; they were professional, efficient, and also warm and friendly. The food was exceptional, especially the fish and chips, which have been elevated to a gourmet level. I can't wait to return! View all feedback.
What avyc doesn't like about Bistro Le Sam:
I had a fantastic experience with a very creative bartender. However, the cocktails were quite pricey. The service was friendly, but the restaurant seemed understaffed. Unfortunately, the food quality didn't meet our expectations given how nice the restaurant is. I would advise against ordering the burger! View all feedback.
A nice discovery. Every time it's excellent. the squash of charcuterie and cheese to share is a must. I strongly advise you to try it
Fantastic food, service and views of the St Lawrence! Highly recommend!
My man and I had a delicious lunch today. we saw the river, so it was hopeful to die. the server was really very nice and took care of us very well. perfect experience!
I would say 4 3/4 stars but since we must be positive in life I give 5. say 4 for the quality of the meal (vs prices). It's pretty expensive and pretty average. Well, it depends on the dishes, but I wasn't impressed. very good, but not impressed, for the price and according to reviews I had read I expected better. the lobster guedilla very good the input chips no (although the small sauce is good) the average trout dessert to the maple surprising miam ! good selection of wines (and good advice) the cocktail at hibiscus...se drinks on its own! now the place is very nice and the view on the beautiful river. 5 stars for that. 5 star idem for service! Even impressive, especially at the evening bar. We were so attentive to my happiness without ever being intrusive, without making me feel that I was constantly under observation. I was alone, I was smashed, while respecting my bubble. Really, keep your barmaid and give him recognition, it's worth gold! It's so rare such a professional service. Anyway, a dinner and dinner that I have enjoyed overall. I'm in love with the cat, you'll see me again.
A lovely restaurant with a great view overlooking the Frontenac terrace and Basse Terre below. But the food was only OK. We started with two soups: their French Onion and the soup of the day. Odd to complain, but the onion soup was so heavy handed with cheese and bread that it was hard to dig down into the nice onions and broth below. For our main plates we had an uber-rich order of cavatelli with black garlic and cream sauce and tasty sauteed mushrooms and a puff pastry stuffed with a bland goat cheese and spinach stuffing atop a underdressed salad (oil but no discernable lemon or vinegar. Our shared tartlet (honeyberry with almond cream and raspberries was fine. Just somehow we had expected the food to match the surroundings and it didn't quite make it.
