What bill argo doesn't like about Le Champlain Restaurant - Fairmont Château Frontenac:
Food and service was good. But ultimately decided that we were not in prime seating area. Lots of foot traffic in vicinity of table. So do ask about dining room when booking. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant at Chateau Frontenac offers a mix of experiences, as noted by various diners. Some found the culinary offerings to be a bit overpriced for what was delivered, with mixed reviews on food quality and service. The breakfast buffet seemed to have a good selection, while a la carte options were also enjoyable. The aesthetic and ambiance of the venue were generally well-received, with the hotel's location and architectural design adding to the overall appeal. For a casual dining experience, Bar 1608 also offered a stylish spot for pre-dinner cocktails. The afternoon tea experience, however, left something to be desired with lackluster tea and food offerings. Overall, for those looking for a gastronomic journey with a touch of creativity, the restaurant at Chateau Frontenac provides a satisfactory dining experience.
Our server didn’t tell us the price of a glass of Pinot Noir, so we assumed it was included. When we got our bill it was $36 per glass.
The experience was amazing!! It was very special to have the chef prepare such an exquisite meal for us. The dessert was a highlight!
