Chester's Chicken - Quartzsite

As busy as this place is, we would have thought it would be super fresh and hot, sad, were so wrong. Two stars because the lady liked us. The apple cake and the Mac-n cheese were good, but the offers, the roasted chicken and the honey biscuit were dry and old. The biscuit was hard to eat and was what I was really happy. Hope it was just a free evening, we will try to change the review again and hopefully.

Chicken was crispy and tasty. Potatoes a bit bland but not bad, green beans SUPER salty. Livers in the case were DEAD! almost black, so didn't order. Cranky server. Overall...doable.

I went just before they closed. I am sure it would have been better earlier in the day Had the chicken fingers. They were good.

This Chester's Chicken is located in a Loves truck stop fuel station convenience store. There is a Subway Sandwich shop right next to it. It seems to be constantly busy but I've never had to wait to long.. The chicken has always been well prepared. It is medium crunchy and not heavily spiced. There are three or four side dishes usually available to include potato wedges, fried okra, and corn on the cob.

First time eating Chester;s was not a disappointment. Got the 3 piece meal with a biscuit and Mac and cheese. Awesome. Love that its in a Love?s so that I could get my Cherry Coke Zero from the fountain in the truck stop rather than the regular drinks from Chester?s. Definitely will be hitting it up again.
