Yes, it was a day where it is kept locally, I love that Sushi Club has come here for years. The shallow buddy decided that Menuloge was boring old, the same Thai, pizza or MSG invite Chinese Chinese, so on Sushi Club popped to see what was available for acceptance. Always the ever helpful and courteous folk, he was loaded back with an almost for more than 2 (could not move for a few hours). The food from the Sushi Cl... View all feedback.
What Katlyn Kertzmann doesn't like about Sushi Club:
This place has fallen in quality and service. It seems that there is a new management, and the food is missing Japanese quality that it once had. We live around the corner, and so we participated in this place at least once a week and noticed the change in the last few months. Do not even expect Japanese food here. Sad to see this one the hill goes down. Avoid it! View all feedback.
A small casual Japanese esserei on harris st serves Bento boxes, udon, sushi sashimi. they offer a good lunch menu. I ordered a softshell crebsalate and the part is considerable with 4 pieces of broken soft bowl scrap. but not much salate. Not bad for $13.
This place is in quality and service. it seems that there is new management and eating lacks any Japanese quality that it had once. we live around the corner and so we visited this place at least once in the week and noticed the change in the last months. do not even expect the second guess to eat Japanese. sad to see that you go down the hill. avoid!
It was a rainy day and we wanted somewhere close to eat. There are a few japanese options along Harris St and I always see this place on the way home on the bus Got here 5 minutes before it reopened for dinner at 5pm. Thought that the food would be good because we were the first customers for dinner and also because there was 1 other diner there... they came 10 minutes into trade Complimentary miso soup tasted like water. Entre was fried dumplings. They were small and too greasy. I would suggest going for steamed instead. I saw some dude eating them and they looked better I got a rice dish with karrage. Too little rice, salad was poor... saving grace was the chicken. It was not the...read more
What's with Japanese restaurants that aren't run/cook/have anyone Japanese in it? I'm a food lover and would love to enjoy authenthic food/cuisine. When it says Japanese restaurant, I expect at least the chef is Japanese, a person with knowledge and who knows what the real taste of Japanese food is like I ordered soft shell crab sushi roll, the crab was cold, the sushi was served in a pasta plate, the rice tasted aweful and the way the sushi rolled was also very poorly done. $16 for 6 pieces of below average sushi surely a waste of money. Will not recommend or ever go back to this place.
Small and cosy with great service and quality preparation. The prices are great and my sashimi was really nicely presented and tasted great. Unfortunately no wine list but oh well...
