Henry's Diner - Putnam
Henry's Diner
Description
Tucked-away and homey, this neighborhood diner earns praise for standout breakfast, pizza and comforting homestyle dishes—eggs cooked well, muffins, shepherd’s pie and shrimp among the favorites. Attentive servers and affordable prices keep regulars returning, though experiences are mixed: some guests note slow responses to requests and inconsistent doneness, while others report worrying hygiene issues around condiments and kitchen practices. A cozy, budget-friendly find with strong flavors but uneven operational standards that suggest cautious optimism.

The servers were excellent. Very good coffee. Had the pastrami/onion BenedictEnjoyed it very much. My wife had the daily special with 3 eggs and spinach. She liked that also but I thought it looked a little skimpy.Food: 4/5

Food was very good. Service was ok. Had to finally go get the milk for my coffee after asking for it a few times. In fairness, I think the wait staff was fairly busy. Will definitely go again though.
This restaurant is fantastic! I ordered the five stuffed shrimp with a choice of two sides, and it was excellent. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding—great pizza and the shepherd's pie was delicious. I will definitely be coming back to this place. Food rating: 5/5.
