A lingering smell of urine constantly emanates from the restaurant as soon as you walk by it. The “owner” James clearly and visibly treats his staff like trash while trying to smooch up “regulars”. The bar staff each and every year goes down in quality while simultaneously increasing their attitude. Their new “bar manager” “cherish” is so rude and clearly on a power trip. I feel bad for the service and sushi staff who have to endure their monarchism and bad energy. I use to send people here all the time however I heard rumors as well that they are pretty discriminatory on the race they hire for service staff as well. All things about this restaurant rub me the wrong way and I wouldn’t trust the food from a restaurant that lets a urine smell linger for years. They also push bottom of the barrel seafood for their “happy hour” shucking hours in advance and loading up on “bargain” oysters. Charging $40 for salmon at a restaurant whose highest priced item should be $40. Decent spot turned into a Joke.
