A great addition to eating on campus. Is a take-and-go café, with different menu options depending on weekday. This fits exactly with the needs of engineers on campus. I don't know a current schedule for what's going to be available and when, but I think there's something like that. The breakfast sandwich I got was amazing! And pretty cheap. I'm really happy to try some of their other options. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Harvey's Engineering Café:
The food they make tastes wonderful, but they need more low cost options for students (even their tater tots are expensive! . Also, they are often closed during the hours they say they are open. View all feedback.
This café is a fantastic addition to dining on campus. It offers a grab-and-go service with a rotating menu that changes throughout the week, which is perfect for engineers like me. I'm not entirely sure of the current schedule for available items, but I believe there's a system in place. The breakfast sandwich I had was fantastic and quite affordable. I'm looking forward to trying more of their offerings!
I visited Harvey's Cafe for breakfast at 8:30 AM, located at the southwest end of the new engineering building. I ordered the Hawaiian French Toast, which consisted of four half slices served with a delicious coconut syrup. They offer a selection of items available in the morning, but don’t hesitate to ask if you can’t find something on the regular menu. I had a lovely conversation with the staff, and they were happy to answer my random questions with a smile. Overall, a delightful experience!
Located conveniently on the southeast side of the campus, this restaurant offers a delightful experience. The California Chicken Sandwich is both delicious and generously filled. I particularly enjoyed the crispy papers. If you're a fan of fry sauce, you can easily create your own by mixing packets of mayo and ketchup. The drink selection is impressive, featuring both Coke Freestyle machines and bottled beverages. I can't wait to try the gelato on my next visit! One suggestion would be to add a "start here" sign near the pickup or beverage cooler to help guide customers.
I've eaten here a bunch. Food is very good, especially the breakfast bagel. They often have delicious assorted condiments to throw on your burger/panini. They seem to be inexplicably shortening their business hours. I spoke to an employee last week who said they were starting to close at 6pm instead of 8. Today I went at 5:45pm and it looked like they had been closed for a long time. Accurate closing hours would be nice.
I've eagerly awaited this to open as it will be nice to have a quick place to grab lunch close to where I spend a lot of my time. So far so good! I went this morning and bought a breakfast panini for 2.99. It had egg, cheese, bacon and creme cheese. It was ok. The eggs weren't the best but other than that it was pretty good. I also stopped by for lunch and bought a California Chicken Sandwich for 4.50 It was pretty good although there were only 2 small slices of avocado and they kinda ended up just to one side of the sandwich. Everything is grab and go which is nice because its fast but also means you can't customize it at all. Adding some signs that show what each menu item has in it would be nice but I'm hoping this will be addressed once it has been opened for a bit. Overall it was pretty good and will be nice to have something on that side of campus!
