That was a quiet bar. The bartender knew his drinks and recommended me drinks. The great work of art was a nice touch. The house punch was definitely a percussion. It has recommended it and this bar. I'll be in Providence next visit. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Eddy:
Was pretty regular since I moved here 4 years ago, brought my partner who I go here with often. We brought a friend in who was managing an event at the Providence performing arts center. Staff who was different than the usual was extremely rude, I couldn't pay fast enough. Left a $20 tip for my one drink, won't return. View all feedback.
Nice cozy place with a great ambiance. Stopped in for a couple of drinks and a bite to eat. Food was delicious and fresh and service was excellent.
I went for a few drinks and had a fantastic time! The outdoor seating was lovely, the service was attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed the drinks. We will definitely return to try the food as well.
Super cute spot, loved the cocktails and the cozy patio. Docking a star because there is no accessible entrance. I?m a wheelchair user so I was not able to go up the step into the bar. Even though my friend and I enjoyed the patio, I was not able to access the bathroom, or sit inside if I wanted to. Please consider adding a ramp!
This restaurant is quite small inside and has limited outdoor seating, so I highly recommend making a reservation or arriving early. We ordered a sampler platter that featured a variety of meats and cheeses, and we were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was to share. It was ideal for a group of five. The drinks were fantastic, and our server was really engaging and fun. While this place isn't suitable for large groups, it's perfect for groups of four or fewer looking for drinks and snacks!
I really love the atmosphere here, especially the cocktails. The bartenders are true professionals, and their cocktail menu is both imaginative and a little whimsical. The vibe is introduced by a striking, almost life-sized painting of a jumbo jet, which adds a warm, moody feel, reminiscent of a sun-faded Polaroid, overseeing the guests. The space strikes a fantastic balance between sultry and intimate while still being lively and social. The food offerings are straightforward and simple. On a personal note, as a white man of a larger build who likely looks quite capable of handling himself, I had the unique experience of a bartender discreetly checking on me to ensure that an overly friendly patron wasn't making me uncomfortable. I was truly impressed and touched by how the bartender took it upon himself to prioritize the safety and comfort of everyone.
