Fantastic, authentic Thai. I had nam sod which was delicious and had the right amount of ginger. My wife had the Bangkok curry and loved it, said it tasted just like it did in Thailand (I liked it too, there was too much for her, portions are generous). We had the fresh spring rolls beforehand which were notable for having mint; it made them super refreshing. Just great food all around! Edit: just saw that so many ot... View all feedback.
What Agnese Galfetti dislikes about Sawaddee Thai:
overpriced, moderate. the food was edible, but nothing special. but the prizes they charge for the portions they receive are ridiculous. if they charge $7 for four crabs-rangoon, they should be something outside a sausage wrapper that is full of cheeses (no evidence for crabs at all.) the Entree sections were good, but I felt on the appetizers and suppening torn off. we will not go back. Assholes! rude service; liars. the restaurant sucks on many species -- very rude service and server, the owners are liars---they say they have vegeterian scurry and then come back to say that they do not have; the server will bring them a leak with the eating waiting for them to leave; the owner visits 3-4 times to see if he was paid and stands there when they sign the reception. the most rude, inhospitable, unfriendly, unfriendly, unfriendly, inconspicuous, uncommon.
Awesome Thai food! This restaurant has the best Thai cuisine cooked in the traditional way. Nice atmosphere and service is always super friendly. I highly recommend the Tom Yum soup and green curry...both are delicious though I have never had a bad dish here. No other Thai restaurant in Providence can compete as far as I am concerned. My go-to spot for Thai!
