I've been here for years since I was a student in Providence. After trying sushi in many places when I moved, I still have to admit the sushi here is exceptional compared to elsewhere. However

Sushi was served warm and not fresh. Service was bad. When we ~politely~ informed staff of the concern of the food, she walked away without saying a word. Sketchy food, rude service.
I think it’s ok. The providence maki was tasty. The lunch special unagi was generous with the eel. It came with pickle which I liked. Unfortunately it was a weird temperature- not warm nor cold. It took over 25 minutes to prepare. There is no wifi inside and the interior is quite run down and dark. The restaurant could use some more light and sunshine.
