Contribute FeedbackThe Red Fez restaurant offers a unique and atmospheric experience in a small, underground location with a mysterious and dark vibe. While some reviewers were critical of the food, others praised the creative and delicious dishes, particularly highlighting the mac and cheese and grilled cheese options. The bar is a popular spot for hipsters and offers a great selection of drinks. Overall, the Red Fez is a cool place for drinks and a fun, unconventional dining experience.
Fantastic. I was there about a month ago, for the second time. eating is delicious (a bit heavy.) the drinks are great. the ambiente is cool. the server is really cool. fantastic cash overall and I highly recommend it. you will not regret it!
Cool place for a drink, was not at all impressed by the dinner. 2 of my friends and I ordered very different tellers, but they kind of tasted all the same. someone in the kitchen had a heavy hand with a kind of red pfeffer in the night bc of the burger, pulled pork, and poutine pries had the same overly seasoned, disappointing taste profile. would go back for the interesting, dark, mysterious atmosphere, but only for drinks.
Rock solid fez. one of my favorite places. another small key underground location with a less than obvious sign to keep the beginner and mainstream in the bay. there is always something good on the menu and the bar above is a fun place to stand around and see how you roommates financially sound hipster congregate, drink and shake like the one wearing at night. superior wings and fries and definitiw the best mac and cheese, and grilled cheese in the city. that's good enough for me. a part of the foundation of the provision.
Always a great atmosphere and eating n drinks are fab.
Wait, What?. After reading the other reviews of the Fez, I was blown away that there was such brief and vague descriptions. Anyone who knows anything knows that the Red Fez is overrated and has an entirely pretentious staff. Ok, give us $2 beers, that's the only reason I ever enter the door, and it's a good deal. But, the food really tastes like it was made by drunk people, for no one. Yea they have revolving specials doled out to out of date hipsters and wanna be black metal softies, but really, is it imaginative and carried out with grace? The food is wavering at best, inconsistent and for the most part overpriced. They want the image of presenting gourmet food in a dive bar...read more
