I loved it here. great eating and excellent drinks, but the bar staff and the thin girl who runs around like the manager must learn some manners. they know me well and when the valet arrived at an accident with my car, they treated me as müll. the police came, took a report from both parties and was right in front of the door all the time, but the workers behaved toward me when I asked to use was terrible. even the cop was horrified. no compassion, but willing to take my money when I'm an expert and then treat me wonderfully. my friends and I have been here for years and we will not return. phillipe should be embarrassed that are busy...read more

I had two meal times in cartabar, because I had to send one back (so both have been sent back!) first I ordered the scallops; over cooked, hard and fish. I then asked about the linguini and the mush. linguini has cooked well, but the mushles were also extremely fishy as if they were weeks old. Moreover, it is a very small restaurtant, which was occupied over with server, all that hanged all night at the bar and it was difficult to get their attention. I would never go back here, ever!

The best pa... read more Daytime-Food, Nighttime-Drinks. Kartabar is a great spot for lunch on a sunny day. The menu offers up a variety of basic entrees, each equally good. The best part about Kartabar however is their drinks at night. If you're lucky enough to be able to grab a table in the back, you are sure to enjoy a much quieter and more intimate evening away from the 30+ crowd that seems to gather in the front bar A good spot for lunch during the day, certainly sub-par menu for dinner, but the drinks make up for the evening aspect.
