Description

GPub is a modern gastropub with a speakeasy feel and a scratch kitchen. Opened in 2014, GPub features an eclectic mix of traditional pub food and drink favorites with an artisanal approach. Located in the basement of the ProvidenceG, which was formerly the Providence Gas Building, the décor is based on the building’s original 1920’s framework. Rustic raw materials blend with modern touches, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. Despite its historic past and decor, the GPub offers all of the modern amenities one would expect in a pub today, including 17 LED TVs, billiards, foosball, air hockey and shuffleboard.

Beautiful pub with good burgers and drinks. don't miss them on buffalo wings! I visited it two times three times to get the wings; good service at the bar.

Rudeness stay away. I booked a reservation on the line and when we found the restaurant claiming that they were the reservation due to problems with the system despite the fact that it was less than the half full to the time. okay, so we could live but the rudeness of the manager (mike) was overwhelming. the half-hearted attempt to sit in a solo caraoke room was insulting. I have heard from several other people that this happens with regularity. Stay away!

Everything about my experience was absolutely terrible. Poor service, horrible food. I would not have fed the nazis that burger I had to eat. This is a gastropub maybe someone should tell the chef that fish and chips is a staple of the original gastropubs. What an idiot.

We really enjoyed our time at G Pub. The food was typical pub comfort food, but prepared with an upscale touch. Everything we had ranged from good to really excellent, so it’s hard to go wrong with whatever you get. Make sure to ask your server for some recommendations as well. I would recommend G Pub as a casual night out for a deliciously filling, yet good quality, American pub-style meal.
