This restaurant has a trendy yet sophisticated vibe without being pretentious. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and coziness. The outdoor space is charming, adorned with plenty of string lights hanging from the trees. View all feedback.

What Jessica O dislikes about Chez Pascal:
I went on a sister date here during restaurant week with every intention of trying the special menu. However, we weren't very hungry, so we decided to go with the offerings at Wurst Kitchen instead. View all feedback.

This charming neighborhood bistro has a laid-back atmosphere and offers exceptional, unique dishes. I’ve only visited once (so far), but I can confidently say they served the best pork chop I’ve ever tasted. The dessert was fantastic as well.

Excellent! Everything is consistently prepared with great attention to detail... the food is outstanding. It's one of my favorite places to eat. I can't wait to try the wurst kitchen!

What a great discovery! I must say, this was an outstanding meal—absolutely top-notch. Our appetizers, the Charcuterie and the Ragout of wild mushrooms, were exceptional, and the special dishes featuring duck and pork were fantastic as well. I definitely finished everything on my plate tonight! I’ll be back for sure, and probably quite often.

Always feels like home!. A few years ago my fiancee and I were on prowl for a great restaurant that we could go to for special occasions and everything else in between. In order to properly preface this we have discriminating palates and are quite foodie when you get down to the nitty gritty. Through a series of reviews and message boards we found our way to Chez Pascal and have been loyalists ever since. <br/ The restaurant itself has a very warm atmosphere with an eclectic decor and more often than not the lady of the house, Kristin, is the person who greets you at the door and brings you to your table. The menu changes seasonally and most if not all of their food is sourced from local farms. <br/ The food I don 't think that there are enough words in the english language available for me to express how much I love the food. My personal favorite is the slow roasted half duck confit; the sides to accompany it change with the season. My fiancee is a sucker for the pork of the day and he always has an ethereal grin on his face upon finishing it. Those may be our favorites, but we 've ventured outside that realm and tried many other selections none have ever disappointed as the food is truly made with love. If you 're there in the fall or winter I recommend trying the cassoulet. The bartender makes fabulous drinks and the waitstaff, especially Regina or Mark, are fun and knowledgable and they never fail to make our visits there quite memorable! <br/ If you 've got a sweet tooth I highly recommend trying the pear upside down cake. It pairs wonderfully with a cappuccino or dessert wine. <br/ <br/ Chez pascal also takes their culinary skills to the streets via the hot dog cart in Lippit Park directly across the street or their Hewtin 's dogs mobile food truck the slogan on the side says 'if it ain 't in a casing, it ain 't worth tasting. ' The chef, Matt, is a pork god when it comes to doing things with pig and his offerings are always delicious! <br/ <br/ In short the restaurant is amazing and definitely worth the trip! For myself and my fiancee it always feels like home and whenever we are in town it 's our first stop.

Always Perfect. I've never had a bad experience here and I've been going to Chez Pascal since their earlier incarnation years ago in Narragansett. The transformation wrought on this old La France space was stunning and I was so glad to see the last of that dated Lucretia Borgia decor. There are two recent experiences that stand out as exceptional at this restaurant their annual heirloom tomato dinner, featuring seven courses showcasing the bounty of Rhode Island's fabulous crop of real tomatoes, including a dessert of grilled baby yellows with bacon ice cream. And the other experience was at Christmas when I needed a custom prix fixe dinner for twelve people. The service was so smooth and gracious and they skillfully kept my grandparents from ever seeing a menu and thus avoiding a two hour discussion on the price of asparagus. <br/ <br/ One good tip start your evening at their intimate bar and get to know the bartender. They craft some killer martinis, the real ones, served up in ice cold glasses about the size of a bird bath.
