Review My husband led me to a beautiful lady named Jacque, who owns a well-known Bed and Breakfast in Progreso Yucatan and also runs an amazing little restaurant called Saboreando Comida India serving a healthy keto menu and Indian cuisine. When we wanted to eat there, she asked me if I liked Indian food and I said no. Jacque hit a few things and brought some different tasting sauces and samples. I chose a chicken dish that came with the wonderfully prepared beets I've ever had and rice. The salad she prepared tasted delicious and I finished my meal with a homemade ice cream prepared by the local Scoop goddess as it is known on site. I enjoyed the whole experience of Jacques personal touch and I won a whole new perspective and appreciation for Indian cuisine.
My husband and I are here regularly. Always delicious food, Albertos service is great and the atmosphere is cozy and fun. Jacque is a wonderful cook and a gracious hostess. The best margaritas in town!
I have eaten here several times for the past couple months. Authentic Indian food made with quality ingredients. Locally sourced pasture raised lamb and pork. Friendly staff and excellent cocktails prepared with quality tequila and rum (margaritas and pina coladas Al so watch for their specials usually Wednesday nights. Live music Friday evenings.
After 2 weeks of Mexican food (which I love! , my body was very happy for a change in flavours, especially since the Indian food at Saboreando was one of the best I ever had! I loved the Palak Paneer, and the vegetable side dishes (beets and red cabbage . The dal was also fantastic. Also, the Margarita was one of the best I had during my whole stay in Mexico : All this was of course even nicer because of the warm welcome by Jaque, the owner, who really made us feel at home, and was really attentive to our needs.
Watm, cozy atmosphere, fascinating people, and great food. I would kill for more of that trifle and would happily maim my grandmother for more of the stuffing and smashed gatlic potatoes. And i wanna steal sous chef ALberto's sweet puppy! This place normally does Indian food, and i havent tried the regular nenu yet.
