We were visiting from northern Vermont and decided to check out a local winery. Running Hare Vineyard exceeded our expectations. They had live music with a $5 cover, a beer garden, and wine tasting available. The two bartenders on duty were very friendly and made us feel right at home, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for the excellent service—we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
Amazing atmosphere! I always go for the wine slushies. It’s great that they have food available too—I especially enjoy the brick oven pizzas. With live music, a family-friendly setting, and a relaxed vibe, it’s a perfect spot to unwind. Just a tip: bring your own lawn chairs since it gets busy on weekends and seating fills up quickly.
The umbrellas were fantastic, especially with the lights underneath—they created a great atmosphere. Everyone we spoke with was incredibly friendly, particularly the woman checking IDs at the entrance. Unfortunately, the wine was some of the worst I’ve ever tasted, which was surprising for a vineyard. It also seemed like they were short-staffed because the food truck took two hours to serve us, and the food was disappointing. The kids working the truck were very kind and apologetic, so we didn’t hold it against them—it clearly wasn’t their fault. On a positive note, the beer was quite good! I’m willing to give this place another chance; maybe we just came on an off night.
Low key obsessed with this place! It's absolutely beautiful and has so much to offer. We went on a Saturday night when they had a band playing which was so much fun!! They had food available to purchase but you are allowed to bring in your own food andthey had so many options to drink. Their wine of course was available, wine slushies, and local beers! Definitely recommendvisiting.
