Hate posting negative reviews, but this needs to be said. We were charged 20% gratuity on our party of 6. Totally fine. We didn’t know this. There is a sign at the front, where you will never see it until you are walking out. There is no itemized receipt. So, we tipped according to the bill. Ended up giving 50% in tips/gratuity because we tipped based on the bill plus built in gratuity. View all feedback.

We are a little new in calvert county, so we have tried after our neighbour suggested this sakura location. when we were eating at hibachi first it was extremely fat and not good, but she also forgot our suppen and salads. when I called the people to know that this has happened, I said I don't want someone to come into trouble, but I want to make sure that this is being picked up to make sure that nobody else is going to happen. they assured me that the next time we arrived there, when we visit their establishment, that we will be put together in some way and wisely. it is now four weeks later and I called to see what they could do so that we could be long-term customers, but we were hit not to find that we were there before. I said I have a credit card and I can prove that I was in her operation and that it was a bad meal. I told them it was worse than having a Sakura expression, and at that point the person on the phone gave me to the manager. When the manager started talking to me, he was immediately rude and dismayable. I told him the same story that I answered the person the phone manager and he replied: “I guess they have to go back to sakura express” by this comment I was extremely shocked I asked for his boss name and he said: “that they don’t have to know his name or mine” I answered him that if this is the kind of lost, as he manages this device, that is why the manager should be ashamed and find a new job, I have worked in many restaurants and as a manager is absolutely right and a gift and the person I speak with is not even close to a manager but a worker. he is the exact reason why this location fails.
We ordered 2 hibachi entrees, volcano roll that had glop of mayo and scallop roll that was served hot temperature wise. Volcano and scallop sushi was different but edible . Giving 1 star because their Philadelphia sushiwe Also ordered smelled and tasted bad ,not fresh and they insisted otherwise. Hibachi was not bad rice kinda greasy meat salty which i didnt mind. I Found glass in my soy sauce dish before the food came too . Happened when they put the tables together and some glass broke. Didnt bother to complain bout it since the food didnt come yet and i removed it. Took alot to write this and complain. The host was nice but that was it . Our server kept cutting off our guests and very rushy even though restaurant was empty. She was kinda rude . Overall would never go back. Go somewhere else

I really enjoyed the grilled salmon that was served to me at my table.
