The hut can also be reac... read more Beautiful alpine pasture near Prettau. The Alm is beautifully located at the top of the mountain. The path is well marked from Prettau. The hut can also be reached via Kasern if you first go towards Rötalm and then towards Bruggeralm. The Alm itself is well managed and the owners are super friendly. The food is great alpine fare and drinks are great. It's worth a visit because such alpine pastures are no longer a given. We were lucky that our grandfather played tremor for us, a great experience. We will definitely come back again

The pressknödel with grey cheese were very tasty, and the kaiserschmarrn were very well cooked. Overall we had a great experience, the host was very kind and we were very impressed by her service, considering she was working alone. On top of that, the lovely dog of the malga greeted us when we arrived. I definitely recommend!
