Quite large restaurant with a simple interieur with lots of wood. the waitresses were very friendly and friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. I had the car... read more Quite large restaurant with a simple interieur with lots of wood. the waitresses were very friendly and friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. I had the carving with potato salad and while it looked good, it was unfortunately extremely dirty. eating and the experience in palo verde was much better. I could be back here and try another court to give it a second chance.

Had the daily menu. spinach soup and potato dumplings with sour wort were on today's offer (it was either kartoffel dumplings or pesto pasta had to go for a Cze... read more Had the daily menu. spinach soup and potato dumplings with sour wort were on today's offer (it was either kartoffel dumplings or pesto pasta had to go for a Czech plate it was quite good, the toroidal dumplings are mixed with smoked tofu, which was quite salty but balanced with the dumplings that they are not too seasoned too strongly. I also ordered a hotberry cake, but it was a bit dry. not too sweet.

Not bad at all, but not fantastic either. Long Island Iced Tea was brilliant. Red wine was just okay. Staff really on the ball quick and keen and attentive. Husband had dumplings on red cabbage. Enjoyable. I love that you can 'pay it forward ' by buying a meal for someone who couldn 't otherwise afford it.

It was the first place we ate after getting in from the airport and what a way to begin our visit to Prague. The pickled tofu is outstanding, we're trying to figure out how to do it here at home in the states. The Kebab plate, ribs in plum sauce, halusky with cheese and smoked tofu, and the lunch special that was like sausage and beer (sorry I can't remember the name and it's not on the website) were all out of this world. The atmosphere is great, staff is kind, and the drinks delicious. You must go here if you're visiting Prague!
