The chip shop in Llandrindod Fountain was closed, so my friend suggested we come here. I have been here before, and this time we had two coffees and a cheese slice, which was nothing special. My friend ordered the steak and kidney pie, which looked better and was priced at 9 pounds. When I checked the bill at home, I noticed they charged an extra 50p for the steak and kidney. Not a big deal, but when I asked for ketchup for the pie, the woman behind the counter replied rudely. Despite this, I still recommend giving this place another chance, as the prices were reasonable and the food was decent. Some improvement in management and customer service would go a long way. Unfortunately, my friend and I will not be returning, so I do not recommend this restaurant.

I appreciate customer service in wales in notorious poor, but it's shameful, as there's nowhere else close to getting easily refreshed. when the staff sits together at a table chat, but don't knock or say something when a customer runs in. Maybe they should have a common room/lounge-out-of-sight? the eating is standard coffee style dug. prepare to be in the school canteen with creepy evening meal!
