I visit Redwood every December for my annual hunting trip, and every year my friends and I make sure to dine there at least once. The food is consistently good, and the service is excellent. We typically go for breakfast, and we always leave feeling satisfied. I'll definitely return soon, and I'm confident we'll find ourselves back there again. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. What Nelle Schmitt dislikes about Redwood Junction:
Food was meh... Service was Baaa-rutal! Ask the server how the chili was and she said I don't know I don't eat here... Ever! Well, alrighty then you want me to??? Slow service and server dec.?not helping food sales at all... Then food comes and it was only ok... Now I know why she doesn't eat there! View all feedback.
However, I should note that Redwood is now closed; the owner has sold it. It has reopened as Wilson Creek Cafe in January 2018.
What a delightful little diner with fantastic food! Our server was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when we were undecided about what to order. My mom had the pancakes and absolutely loved them. My sister enjoyed the chicken steak, which looked homemade, and the gravy was exceptional. I opted for a big burger, and the waitress was kind enough to serve it on her homemade grilled rye bread. I requested the burger cooked medium, and the chef did a wonderful job. I also had a cup of her homemade chicken soup. The meal was fantastic for me—juicy, flavorful burger and dumplings paired with tender chicken. Everything was made from scratch, nothing from a can. This place is a gem, and I could eat there every day! I've been to two diners in Seattle, and I can only say I'm fortunate this place isn't right next to me, or it would be tough competition! I can't wait to return!
To christine r, we're sorry for the bad service they have received, and just eat ok for that. we also want to add that the waitress they had is no longer busy with us. she went to another restaurant in the opposite and after 3 days was fired. we hope that if they are in our opposite, they will stop and give us another chance to serve them.
