I absolutely adore this charming little tea room near my house, and the owner, Lulu, is simply wonderful.
I always have a fantastic lunch experience here. They serve the best quiche in town, and the servers, along with the owner, are consistently wonderful.
Not sure how this place stays open when they’re only open Monday through Friday 11 to 2… the average 9-5pm worker can never make that??
This is the prettiest little house. We ordered take out and didn't eat inside. I'm giving a four star review bc although the chicken salad was wonderful, all of my fresh fruit wasn't completely ripe so that was a bummer. The sweet bread was deliciousand the deviled eggs were good as well. We would like to go back and eat inside one day. Hopefully we can give another star!
The food is delicious, but the service leaves something to be desired. Our office often treats ourselves to lunch at Lulu's, and we're aware that it can get busy during lunchtime, so we usually make reservations and call ahead with our order. However, this time, when we offered to place our order by phone to make things easier for the staff, we were advised to just order upon arrival. We ended up waiting an hour without receiving our meals. Since we needed to return to the office, we requested our food to go. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive an apology or any compensation for the inconvenience. While we really enjoy the atmosphere and the food at this restaurant, the service and hospitality are not up to par.
