It tasted like plain chicken broth. The sliced chicken was also unpleasantly squishy and rubbery. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

However, it is strange that rice costs extra. The prices are reasonable and the portions vary, sometimes leaving you disappointed but other times thrilled. The Banh Mi sandwiches are epic and a must-try. The locals who frequent the Lounge during the daytime are colorful characters, making it a fun place to meet a friend. Overall, New Leaf is a reliably enjoyable dining experience if you're not looking for fine dining but just want to have a good meal.
