I've heard wonderful things about this restaurant from foodies and average consumers alike. Upscale establishments like this, while increasing in frequency, are still few and far between in this part of the greater Seattle area. Naturally, I was very intrigued and immediately in love with the Bauhaus meets West Manhattan aesthetic. Unfortunately on this night, however, which was simultaneously my initial sensitizing event, the food was a big miss. The steak in the steak frites was way too fatty, bizarrely greasy, and not a good cut for the price at all. The truffles steak butter fries were quite tasty but very heavy. The beef carpaccio was fresh, but a bit too thin and challenging to extract from the serving plate. The Manny's Pale Ale was delicious as expected. And as also expected, significantly more from an establishment of this supposed caliber. I will return at some point to give it a second shot, but will take my time in doing so.

Loved the service and the atmosphere, so had high hopes on the food. Unfortunately, Three of the four meals we ordered were less than satisfying. My son had the halibut fish and chips, the halibut was full of bones. I had the roast beef and Yukon gold potatoes. The roast beef was maybe 6 small, half-dollar size thin slices of well done meat. I prefer a big thick medium rare piece. The meat and potatoes were bland, flavorless. My wife had the salmon. That was a mistake. Completely flavorless, she couldn't even finish it. And she loves salmon. Both meals were very small as well. The fourth was the cheese burger my son ordered. That was good. So if you go here, I suggest getting the burger or steak. The steak looked good. Big price and huge disappointment ?
I can’t imagine how we’ve missed out on this little gem being so close to home. We ate there for the first time and really enjoyed it. The menu was excellent with a variety of interesting dishes. Everything was well prepared. We were seated right awaywith a reservation. Our waiter was excellent. The Restaurant felt open spacious and modern. Best of all there was no blaringmusic driving the conversation volume up so loud that no one could hear anyone else speak. We could actually have a conversationwith the rest of our dinner party at our table. We will definitely be revisiting this restaurant and recommend it to others.
