What Xavier Guillou doesn't like about Thirsty Bird:
I followed the top 20 list of roasted chicken shops in Sydney and ended at the thirsty bird. It was just another big disappointment. The chicken was over and tasted bitter and dry. Seriously, you could taste nice if you marinate you a little longer. View all feedback. What Amber Collins likes about Thirsty Bird:

read moreThirsty Bird, located in The Cross, is a popular spot for late-night dining with a varied menu of chicken, burgers, and sides. Visitors are drawn to their Big Kahuna burger, which features a generous battered chicken breast, bacon, cheese, pineapple, salad, and delicious sauce, creating a messy and satisfying meal. The restaurant also offers crispy and tender original and spicy chicken options that are complemented by epic coleslaw. The chicken pieces and burgers are highly recommended for their quality and affordability. Additionally, the crispy exterior and juicy interior of the fried chicken make it a go-to spot for cheat meals or post-night-out cravings, with standout menu items including the 'Stinger' burger, 'Nuggets', and 'Mash and Gravy'. Overall, Thirsty Bird is a great option for delicious fried chicken and satisfying comfort food in Sydney.
My girlfriend really enjoys thirsty bird, but I think it's just average. The fried chicken is pretty typical, but the pickles stand out as unique.
